‘Eden 4’ is an artist led group comprising of four emerging female artists based in the South West of England. Collectively they all have a substantial amount of exhibiting and curating experience, including showing their work in London, Bristol, Bath, Weston Super Mare, Birmingham and even as far as Venice. 

 

As a group we will explore the darker symbolism behind the themes of fairytales, myth, and religion. Drawing inspiration from the Grim Fairtales, Greek myths, bible stories and human-monster hybrids, we propose to make installations, drawings, sculpture and embroidery based on ideas which will challenge the viewers traditional ideas of ‘Happily ever after’.
